Recycle Plastics Process

In an effort to eliminate horticultural landfill waste generated by our product containers, Young’s Plant Farm is facilitating recycling efforts between our consumers and recyclers. Customers can return nursery trays and pots to their local garden center for recycling. If the container is not reusable, then it is returned to the manufacturer, where it is re-ground and made into new containers.

In addition to recycling more than 150 tons of plastic per year, Young’s Plant Farm also recycles cardboard and wooden pallets (for reuse), furthering our commitment to sustainability.
