Young’s Hires David Conley as Logistics Director

Young’s recently hired David Conley to serve as our new Logistics Director.

David is leading the implementation of Truckmate, a new transportation management system that includes Peoplenet software, used by all of our trucks’ on-board computers. Young’s has also installed GPS units on all trailers, in conjunction with Skybiz trailer tracking software. Additionally, we have upgraded our logistics and routing software, Roadnet, to its latest version, including the addition of PC Miler software.

These systems all work in unison so that the Young’s logistics department can electronically dispatch equipment and drivers, effortlessly track and monitor equipment and analyze routes to optimize delivery times while minimizing miles driven.

David, along with the entire Young’s logistics team, will occupy our newly completed offices, located between the main Young’s Plant Farm office and the shipping facilities at our Farm 1 location.
